Team Liza - Ironman Competitor

After a life changing car crash, athlete Beth James returned to marathons and triathlons, this time in tandem with her daughter Liza.

Humans express love in a million different ways; for Beth it has taken the form of running, swimming, and biking with Liza. Liza loves the motion and interaction with others during each event. The joy Liza gets from participating with her mom in each outing is evident in her smile and excitement.

Team Liza participated in the Ironman world championships, a long distance triathlon competition, in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 2019. They hope to return one day to finish what they started.

Team Liza is participating in the 2021 Half Ironman World Championships in St. George UT this weekend, September 17 - 18, and are super excited! They will be using a new bike and a new chair for Liza.
